• In 1998 and 2000, the firm received the “Put Something Back” Pro Bono Award as an “Exception Law Firm” from the Eleventh Circuit and Dade County Bar Association project.  The firm was also honored in 1999 with a Certificate of Appreciation from Metropolitan Dade County for its pro bono contributions to the community, and was an American Bar Association Pro Bono Publico Award nominee in 2001.  In 2002, Markowitz, Davis, Ringel & Trusty, P.A. received the Chief Justice’s Law Firm Commendation by the Florida Bar Association for their Pro Bono work.
